Each month we shine a spotlight on one member of the This is My Van Life community, celebrating their adventures, favourite destinations and the memories they've captured along the way.

Meet Karl and Eve
After dreaming about life on the road for years, they finally took the plunge and bought a VW Crafter, spending six months transforming it into their perfect home on wheels. Countless evenings, weekends and more than a few cups of coffee later, their self-build was complete—and they haven't looked back since.
Over the past year they've explored every corner of the UK, from the rugged coastlines of Cornwall to the breathtaking mountain roads of Snowdonia and the peaceful lochs of the Scottish Highlands. Their favourite part of Van Life? Waking up to a different view whenever the mood takes them.
Favourite Campsite
A peaceful cliff-top campsite overlooking the North Devon coastline, where evenings are spent watching the sunset with a cup of tea and planning the next day's adventure.
Best Hidden Gem
A quiet woodland parking spot in the Brecon Beacons where they woke to the sound of birdsong and enjoyed breakfast surrounded by nature.
Favourite Road Trip
The spectacular North Coast 500 in Scotland. Stunning scenery, welcoming fellow Van Lifers and countless unforgettable places to stop made it a journey they'll never forget.
Top Tip for Fellow Van Lifers
"Don't rush from place to place. Some of our favourite memories have come from staying an extra day somewhere we never planned to stop."
Our first journal entry
Eve bought her first This is My Van Life journal early in 2025 and it she tells us it has become an essential travel companion, helping them record every campsite, scenic stop, hidden beach and unforgettable sunset. - Thanks Eve!!
